CERRS Campus Ambassadors (2nd Batch) Kickstart Their Journey with an Inspiring Orientation Program for Personal and Professional Growth

The Center for Engineering, Research, and Revision Services (CERRS) hosted an inspiring virtual orientation on March 10, 2025, via Zoom, bringing together researchers, professionals, mentors, and students from diverse institutions. This event marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the Campus Ambassadors (2nd Bach), who joined from universities across Bangladesh.

Designed to empower ambassadors with essential leadership, communication, and networking skills, the program aims to foster both personal and professional growth. The orientation emphasized the ambassadors' potential to drive positive change within their campuses and future careers.

During the session, CERRS Ambassadors and distinguished guests shared valuable insights on how this role will help ambassadors enhance their leadership capabilities, public speaking skills, and career awareness, equipping them to excel in academic and professional spheres.

The event began with a warm welcome from the host, Md. Zahid Hossain, Director (Operations) at CERRS, introduced the esteemed guests to the participants, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful session.

Next, the Program Chair, Md. Mahabub Alam Moon, Managing Director and CEO of CERRS, provided an insightful overview of CERRS’s vision, mission, core values, and objectives. He shared the story behind CERRS’s inception, its dedication to academic excellence, and its diverse range of services, including academic support, research, IT solutions, consultancy, and language revision.

Mr. Moon emphasized the critical role of Campus Ambassadors in driving these initiatives forward, highlighting how the program offers ambassadors valuable hands-on experience in event management, promotion, networking, and digital engagement, ultimately preparing them for future leadership opportunities.

Mr. Md. Mahabub Alam Moon also led an engaging discussion on higher studies abroad and the importance of strategic career planning. He provided valuable insights into scholarship opportunities, application processes, and key factors for securing admissions at top international universities.

Additionally, he introduced an upcoming webinar on career guidance, aimed at helping students navigate their professional journeys with confidence. The session will cover career development strategies, skill-building, and industry trends, equipping participants with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed career decisions.

Md. Golam Rabbi, Manager (Structural Design), Bashundhara Group, Sector-C. and Special Guest of the program delivered an insightful speech, sharing his expertise and experiences in the field. He highlighted the importance of technical proficiency, continuous learning, and adaptability in the ever-evolving engineering industry.

As a Special Guest, Mr. Reaid also emphasized the role of research, innovation, and collaboration in shaping successful careers. His speech served as an inspiration for the Campus Ambassadors, encouraging them to leverage their skills, embrace challenges, and actively contribute to their respective fields.

Md. Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Trust University, Barishal, and a Special Guest of the program, delivered a compelling speech on the impact and benefits of the Campus Ambassador Program.

As a Special Guest, he emphasized the pivotal role that ambassadors play in academic and research settings, serving as key connectors between CERRS’s services and their peers. Mr. Islam highlighted how this experience not only enhances leadership, communication, and organizational skills but also acts as a stepping stone for future career growth, providing ambassadors with invaluable real-world insights and professional development opportunities.

The program concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where the ambassadors engaged actively with CERRS leaders. Ambassadors shared their feedback, posed insightful questions, and even proposed ideas for collaboration.
