1.8. Information Management Policies
1.8.1. Accessing/Updating Personal Information
We rely on you to update and correct your Personal Information.
Note that we may keep historical information in our backup files as permitted by law. If
our Services do not permit you to update or correct certain information, contact us at the address
described below. If we are processing your Personal Information on behalf of one of our clients,
we will respond that we are operating as a Service Provider and cannot act on your request.
We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be
accessed, corrected, or removed before processing, and we may decline to process requests that are
unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort,
jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning
information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case,
where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge,
except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Because of the way we maintain certain
services after you delete your information, residual copies may take a period of time before they are
deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
1.8.2. Retention and Deletion of Personal Information
Our data retention policies and procedures are outlined in this Section in order to help
guarantee that we abide by the laws regarding the retention and deletion of personal data.
We typically retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the
purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may, however,
request information about how long we keep a specific type of information or request that we
delete your Personal Information by contacting us at support@cerrsltd.com. If required by law we
will grant a request to delete information, but you should note that in some situations we must keep
your Personal Information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our
agreements, or for another one of our business purposes.
You may also send us an email at support@cerrsltd.com to
request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to
us. Any required field we asked for during registration cannot be deleted for business purposes
and to identify your payment category. We cannot delete your personal information except by
also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe
the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
